Valerie Levine has been dancing since the age of four and has studied a wide range of dance styles. She has competed in American Rhythm at the Nassau Coliseum for the prelude of the popular phenomenon “Dancing with the Stars,” when it toured in February 2007, the following day of which she and her partner appeared in Newsday. Since then, she has performed on many shows and has been featured in many media spots (credits include the “TODAY Show” and WPIX CW11 with fellow instructors from Stepping Out Studios).  Valerie has additionally performed at corporate events and has shot video segments (Lance Armstrong’s wellness site livestrong.com , expertvillage.com) with her professional dance partner, Jules Helm. She is a member of the Belly Dance Fusion company, “Dance Soul Company,” and a Brazilian Samba Troupe, which performs at shows and clubs throughout NYC, including the most recent show at Marquee. In October 2008, Valerie was invited to join the popular Mexico version of “Dancing With the Stars.” Valerie loves teaching all styles and levels of dance, whether for beginners, wedding couples, competitive dancers or show dance performers.

Valerie’s passions lie in teaching, performing, choreographing and competing in the art forms to which she dedicates her life.
